OUR AIM:
Our aim in this project;
- Raising environmentally sensitive individuals
- Encouraging students to work on specific topics, create their own materials and games, and share them with their peers,
- Encourage group work
- Promoting peer learning,
- Enabling students to learn to learn
- improve foreign language skills,
-To increase students' interest and skills in using web2.0 tools,
-To learn about professions related to the environment.
WORKING PROCESS:
October:
- logo contest
- Meeting Webinar
-Adding students
- Creation of international teams
-Student meeting events
-The distribution of tasks
-Start a blog
November:
-5 international teams will be formed.
-A joint e-book will be created, with each team describing one type of pollution.
December:
-Experiments on environmental pollution will be made by international teams, videos will be shot and an experiment book will be created with these videos.
January:
-An illustrated dictionary about pollution will be created.
-Each student will design toys from waste materials.
February:
-Evaluation
-Dissemination
-Students will do research on every subject and try to find solutions to all kinds of pollution with STEM activities.
- Students will create online games and share them on twinspace.
-Webinars will be organized.
- They will learn to use Web2.0 tools.
- They will improve their English.
EXPECTED RESULTS:
- Students will know environmental problems, understand their importance and take precautions.
- They will produce solutions to problems with STEM activities.
-Students will search for information.
-Students will learn by doing.
-Students will create online, digital games with their mixed teams.
-English skills will improve.
-A joint blog, picture dictionary, experiments bookstore, e-book on environmental pollution will be created.
